United Way Surpasses 'Lofty' Fundraising Goal!
United Way and its numerous partners and volunteers surpassed their $920,000 campaign goal, raising $921,000 for the Pueblo Community. $921,000 is the highest community campaign ever raised by Pueblo United Way.
The announcement came Wednesday, March 19th at the United Way Annual Meeting. Over 250 attended the celebration luncheon at Pueblo Community College. United Way took the opportunity to recognize the outstanding campaigns that exhibited excellence in volunteerism, in corporate leadership and as campaign coordinators. The volunteer ambassador awards went to Ken Goodnight, Express Scripts and Team Pueblo Chieftain. The corporate leadership awards went to Xcel Energy and Aquila and the three campaign coordinator awards went to Patti Williams and Jack Johnston of AT&T, Scott Costantini and the Trane Company team, and Michelle Peulen from Parkview Medical Center.
