Park East Restaurant recently wrapped up its month long effort to raise money for United Way funded programs. Proclaiming October as United Way month, owners Terra Riggio and David Jimenez sold their customers chances to win four great prizes, including a private wine dinner for eight with a private sommelier, a $100 Park East gift card, a Happy Hour office party worth up to $300 and a $25 Park East gift card. In addition, during the week of October 25th through the 31st, David & Terra donated 10% of the restaurant’s profits to United Way!

Several local "celebrities" helped by volunteering their evening to help sell tickets, and mix and mingle with the crowd. The hard-working celebrities included K.R. Swerdfeger Owner & 2009 UW Campaign Chairman Keith Swerdfeger, Sandy & Marv Stein, Pueblo City Councilman Ray Aguilera, County Commissioner John Cordova, Clear Channel's Julie Schafer, Convention Center CEO Dean Dennis and Jack Quinn, Sunflower Bank and former UW campaign chairman.

"David & Terra have been amazingly generous to United Way and are always thinking of new and creative ways to support and promote our organization. To top it off, the food and atmosphere are all top notch."
