Take the Nonprofit Needs Survey!
United Way is working to identify additional ways we can support you, our incredible nonprofit community, in the upcoming year and beyond. Our team, committee, and Board of Trustees is currently revisiting our Community Investments model- the various ways we support the community to determine how we can improve partnerships and support, to include, but not limited to, our proposed UWPC Nonprofit Center and other outreach opportunities. We do none of this work alone and we fully recognize that the adjustments we make affect the entire community. We want to work with you to help envision how we can better leverage supports and ensure resources are available and needs are met. LIVE UNITED is much more than a worldwide credo, it is the drive in which we return to because together we can truly accomplish great things.
This survey was designed to help provide a quick snapshot of needs which accompanies numerous conversations and observations over many years, a piece to the picture to make a collective impact for the greater good.

Emergency Food & Shelter Program - Phase 40 is closed.
The Federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program has announced that Pueblo County has been chosen to receive $96,672 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the county.
United Way of Pueblo County will administer the funds on behalf of the federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program through the Department of Homeland Security to local organizations. Agencies may receive funds to provide food, shelter and supportive services, including, but not limited to:
- Food services, such as congregate meals or groceries;
- Lodging in a mass shelter, or in a hotel/motel or other off-site shelter facility limited to 30-days assistance per individual or household;

- Up to 90 days (3 months) of utility assistance for gas, electric and water service;
- Supplies, including but not limited to cleaning supplies, and small equipment essential to feed or shelter people, not exceeding $300 per item
Individuals in need of assistance may not apply directly for funds; rather, services will be provided through area non-profit agencies.
A mandatory meeting will be held for program applicants Wednesday, March 8. Additional EFSP information can be found by visiting www.efsp.unitedway.org.
